SANOSIL SUPER C
The biocide of the future
 Sanosil
Super C is the ideal biocide for large water bodies and reservoirs,
where microbial presence needs to be controlled. Being completely
bio-degradable and swift in eliminating micro-organisms, Sanosil Super
C is safe, convenient and easy to use.
Composed of Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) and Silver
(Ag) ions, it is 100% eco-friendly since H2O2
breaks down into water and oxygen, thus leaving no trace elements.
Ag in minute quantities (ppb levels) acts swiftly in killing micro-organisms.
Moreover, the absence of chlorine, makes it a safe, non-irritant alternative.
Sanosil Super C is also non-toxic, non-carcinogenic and non-mutagenic
and has no effect on pH.
Sanosil Super C is specifically formulated to control bacterial and
algae contamination in swimming pools, cooling towers, recirculatory
systems and pipelines.
Sanosil Super C is a patented formulation manufactured in technical
collaboration with Sanosil AG of Switzerland. The product has been
extensively tested and approved by various European, Australian and
Middle Eastern Health Departments.
It is the only biocide in the world capable of destroying
bio-films without dangerously overdosing.
 Sanosil
Super C is a multi-component biocide. The oxidizing agent used is
Hydrogen Peroxide bonded with stabilizing agents to from a complex
solution.
Sanosil Super C is very easy to handle. It is a non-corrosive, non-toxic,
non-foaming and safe method of controlling microbiological levels
in swimming pools and cooling water systems. It can be directly added
to cooling water pumps or at any other suitable location where good
distribution can be assured. Sanosil Super C is highly soluble in
water and its high solubility increases its penetration power in slimy
masses and water bodies.
Sanosil Super C is also suited for prevention of recontamination of
the system. It is effective in pH range of 6 to 9 and is unaffected
by water impurities. Its main constituent H202
decomposes into water and oxygen and thus does not cause any pollution
in discharge water.
Sanosil Super C has a wide spectrum of biocidal action on micro-organisms.
It is an oxidizing agent showing strong biocidal action against blue-green
algae and green algae, bacteria like Eschericha, Thiobacillus, Sphaerotilus
Achromobacter, Pseudomonas Ferobacillus Anaerobic Desulfovibroio (SO4
reducer) and fungi like Aspergillus Pencillium and Basidiomycetes.
Sanosil Super C can be used in all swimming pools (indoor pools, outdoor
pools, private pools, hotel pools, therapy pools, hot tubs, jacuzzis,
etc).
Dosage
Initially a shock dose of 150-200 ppm of Sanosil Super C,
based on the hold-up capacity is added. Subsequently a dose of 50
ppm is added at 3-5 day intervals, depending on the microbial load
in the system. At 25 ppm Sanosil Super C has a kill rate of 90%, including
SO4 reducers.
